Solid Walnut Bissman Dining Set

This set was made from solid-walnut from the Ozark forests in Springfield, Missouri in the 1950's, just a few hours from our front door.  Bissman furniture is not only beatiful, but in our opinion, it is the best-made furniture from the Midcentury Modern era.  

The table is 70" with no leaves, and expands to 115" with all FOUR leaves inserted.  Three of the four leaves can be stored inside of the table.
